Women's work is never done

When I went to PA school back in the 70s, most of my class was male. Now the PA profession, like many others has become female dominated. You could say "well done, baby" and leave it at that - but we can't. Despite hard won advances, women around the world still are at a disadvantage. The average woman still often makes less than her male counterpart. In many places, women still have huge barriers to getting an education, becoming a professional, obtaining equal right.

MARCH IS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Let's make history together. We know that educating women and girls is good for the family and the nation. Let's work together to remove barriers to female education and female equity.

INNOVATIONS IN EDUCATION is all about education and equity for women. Check out our webinar on GLOBAL HEALTH on our webinar page. The curriculum director for our partner organization in Africa, Heidi, has a doctorate in women's studies and brings that perspective to our program.

Women may hold up half the sky, but we are still not equal partners. Our half is still heavier.
